Connect the controller to a computer with the tuning software installed.
This procedure is specific to tuning software v4.0 and later. It can be downloaded for free and is compatible with all of our controllers.
First, click File > Read Calibration from Controller.
Next, click the settings button and go to the Range Sensor tab.
Check to make sure that analog is selected from the pulldown menu.
Close the settings window and write the table to the controller by clicking the "1" button and then the "Write Controller Table" button. (If that is the table you are using.)
Now connect the controller to the vehicle to see if the PRNDL is reading correctly.
If only some positions are reading incorrectly, check the adjustments of the range sensor itself.
