With the key off and 12 pin solenoid connector still unplugged, unplug the vehicle connector. Back probe the red lead to pin 7 (dark blue wire) of the solenoid connector and the black lead to pin 15 (black wire) of the vehicle connector, which is ground.
Is the resistance greater than 5k Ohms?
