PerformanceAdapters.com Ford 351M/400 engine to GM V8 automatic transmission adapter. Can be used with the Quick4 or Quick2 controlling a 4L60E or 4L80E transmission. Compatibility note: This kit uses a "standard" flat SBC style flexplate which works with the older 4L60E but not the later models. Later 4L60E transmissions have a dished flexplate and a smaller converter bolt circle size.

The Big Block Ford to Chevy V8 transmission kit will transform your Ford with many advantages over other options currently on the market. The kit is only 1" thick and made from 6061 Billet Aluminum. This gives you more room in your engine bay and helps to limit fire wall modifications. The kit also requires ZERO modifications to your bellhousing.

This kit uses a factory style flexplate, eliminating the need for any torque converter spacer rings or adapters. This means the kit is significantly cheaper without sacrificing the performance of your build. Utilizing a simple crank spacer retains an OEM style 14.25" flexplate, eliminating the need for additional hardware and reducing potential failure points.. Slightly longer, grade 8+ 7/16-20 bolts are provided that thread into your crank and can be tightened to factory specs. There’s no need to worry about if your engine needs to have a different external balance weight. Simply choose the option that corresponds with your engine and the correct flexplate will be included. (Please note: This will not work with the 157 tooth flexplate.)

This kit also uses an off-the-shelf starter, which means it’s common and easy to acquire, so there’s no need to worry about going on a trip and getting stranded. This will save you possibly hundreds of dollars if this part needs replacement. The kit is designed to require no modifications to your bellhousing. The starter sits inside the GM starter boss, keeping things simpler and easier to install.

Shipping Cost

Shipping Time

Due to delays in the supply chain, expect a delay of 10-14 days for control system orders to ship. An email will be sent to the address you provide during checkout with tracking information once your order ships. Please note that choosing expedited shipping does not reduce the time that it takes for us to ship your order.

Return Policy

All returns must have an RA (Return Authorization) number and will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Shipping is non-refundable unless we shipped you the incorrect item. No refunds will be issued after 30 days past the ship date.
