Looking to improve your classic Ford without giving up that beautiful, classic sounding engine? This kit will allow you to put a modern, electronically-controlled automatic transmission behind the classic Ford FE engine.
Designed to be as thin as possible to allow maximum firewall clearance, the adapter is only 1.375" thick. It’s made from 6061-T6 aluminum to ensure the plate will take the abuse of daily driving. The crank adapter is made of precision 1018 Carbon steel as opposed to others who use the cheaper A36. This ensures strength, longevity, and accuracy without needing to worry about deformation in extreme applications.
This adapter will accept a Small Block Ford (truck bellhousing) or Modular automatic transmission, giving you a wide range of transmission options to make your vehicle as comfortable as possible. There are also several Mercury, Edsel, and Lincoln FE engines that this kit will work with. (Please note: This kit is only compatible with "standard" Ford FE patterned engines.)
If you have a 410 or 428, these engines are externally balanced and use a different flexplate. Please contact us upon order if you are using either of these engines. We do still however recommend your builder verifies the balance.

Shipping Cost
Shipping is calculated by Shopify at checkout. For controller kits, we ship via UPS.
Shipping Time
Due to delays in the supply chain, expect a delay of 10-14 days for control system orders to ship. An email will be sent to the address you provide during checkout with tracking information once your order ships. Please note that choosing expedited shipping does not reduce the time that it takes for us to ship your order.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be charged for residents of South Carolina.
Return Policy
All returns must have an RA (Return Authorization) number and will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Shipping is non-refundable unless we shipped you the incorrect item. No refunds will be issued after 30 days past the ship date.
