This adapter kit allows you to mate a 1994–2003 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke diesel engine to a Ford 6.7L Diesel 10R140 automatic transmission, providing a clean and reliable solution for custom swaps and drivetrain upgrades.
The kit is designed to work with the stock 7.3L Power Stroke flexplate (FRA-420) and stock starter 6.4L. The factory starter adapter and crank spacer are not required when using this kit, simplifying installation and reducing unnecessary components.
A key design advantage of this kit is the 1-inch adapter plate, which replaces the thicker 32mm (1.26-inch) factory starter plate. This optimized thickness improves alignment while maintaining proper drivetrain geometry. Minor modification to the 6.7L bellhousing is required for proper starter Bendix clearance and up-pipe clearances.

Ford 10R140 to NP271/273 Transfer Case Adapter
This two-piece 6061 Billet 10R140 to NP271/273 Transfer Case Adapter is designed to make installation easier, safer, and more manageable by allowing you to mount the 10R140 transmission to the back of your engine without having the transfer case already attached to the transmission.
Separating the transmission and transfer case during installation eliminates the additional weight and awkwardness of handling the complete assembly. This makes hanging the transmission significantly easier while also reducing the risk of damage or injury during installation.
The adapter utilizes precision alignment dowels to ensure proper concentric alignment between the transmission output shaft and transfer case input shaft. This helps maintain proper shaft alignment and provides a precise, reliable fit between the transmission and transfer case.
As part of the conversion, this kit also replaces the factory 32-spline NP271/NP273 input shaft with an upgraded 43-spline input shaft. The replacement inputs are manufactured from 4140 Heat Treated Steel and Nitride Coated for increased durability and wear resistance. The shaft is designed to retain the appropriate dimensions and fitment of the original input while providing the required 43-spline connection for the 10R140 application.
The kit also includes new input shaft bearings and an input shaft seal, along with a complete hardware kit containing the necessary hardware to assemble and install the adapter.

Return Policy
All returns must have an RA (Return Authorization) number and will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Shipping is non-refundable unless we shipped you the incorrect item. No refunds will be issued after 30 days past the ship date.
